HELP MAKE AUSTIN ANIMAL CENTER’S CATS AND
DOGS HEALTHIER, HAPPIER AND MORE ADOPTABLE!
| “The shelter makes me so nervous. Can you help me feel more comfortable so I don’t shake and cower in the corner of my kennel?” | “I get too excited when someone comes to walk me. I jump and pull on the leash. Can you help me learn how to walk nicely?” | “I am house trained so it’s really embarrassing when I have to go in my kennel because there aren’t enough volunteers to walk all the dogs. Please come walk me!” |
Volunteers are needed to walk dogs 7 days a week, 365 days a year between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. Dogs of all sizes need potty breaks and socialization every day. YOU can help make shelter dogs happier, healthier and more ADOPTABLE! AAC’s volunteers are a vital part of keeping Austin a no-kill city.
