Peaches – Adopted April 4, 2013

Here’s what we originally wrote about Peaches:
Two-year-old Peaches is full of energy and sometimes seems to be looking for someone when you have her out — maybe the person who gave her a home for a few months before deciding she was not a good fit for a senior citizen. She is a petite, pretty smart girl who’ll hop up on a bench and snuggle next to the right person. Peaches would love someone who will help her channel her energy and to use her active mind with training, exercise and games like puzzle toys. Her former adopter reported that she is housebroken and calm indoors, and that she is playful, respectful and usually tolerant around children. But she was kept mostly outdoors, and her person said she could be barky and destroy things outside — we are guessing out of boredom or loneliness. She hasn’t been around cats but her person reported she chased squirrels and rabbits. We think she might do best as an only fur-child. She’ll be enough to fill your home with fun and love.
